The Mountain Fountain in Hygiene, Colorado. This historic country store is located at the crossroad of 17th Avenue and 75th Street, where the StickerGiant factory was located from 2003 to 2016.

This bucolic T-intersection is where you’ll find yourself facing the parking lot of an establishment that’s been around for decades under a few different monikers. On warm days, you’ll likely see a gaggle of cyclists in the side yard crowded around the picnic tables comparing notes from their ride. As you enter the front door, your gaze takes in the community tables to the left, the shelves in the middle of the store stocked with various goods and cooler cases that line the walls. To the right is the deli counter where the magic happens, with fresh meats, cheeses and sandwiches all being freshly prepared for customers.

The Mountain Fountain was originally Clarks Food Market, which was a mainstay for many years. Clarks was an integral part of the community. When the Clarks retired, it became the beloved Mary’s Market followed by the popular Purple Door Market. Carrie now owns the store and is excited about the Hygiene Colorado history, the future of Hygiene, and the exciting times to come in the store. Carrie is a college educator and an organic food and beverage enthusiast. She has rebranded the store as The Mountain Fountain and is adding new and unique offerings that compliment an already remarkable store. The Mountain Fountain retains the small town store feel from previous owners, and she has added great new features. Carrie’s plans will allow the store to reach even more neighbors, bike riders and people just passing through. Carrie is keenly aware that the store has become a local landmark and is humbled by being a part of that history.

Part of the rebrand is what you see in the image above. The Mountain Fountain is using a classic oval sticker shape to hold their new logo. Oval stickers are one of our Top Ten Stickers of All Time, and The Mountain Fountain really went all-in on the oval concept, which usually has an acronym on it like OBX for North Carolina’s Outer Banks or RMNP for Rocky Mountain National Park. Instead, they have the MTN FTN as their acronym (perfect!) and then the line art for the mountain skyline with bubbles signifying a (soda) foundation and the geotag on the bottom with Hygiene, Colorado. With orange, variations of blue and white as the color palette, this sticker is sure to please folks stopping in for a quick bite on a ride or a first-time customer taking a long drive through the country.
